This small hardback book with 69pp contains some interesting descriptions of the Crabbet Stud and a visit by George Forbes. There is an article entitled The Old Arabian Racing Breed by Lady wentworth who makes some interesting comments about Skowronek. Many Crabbet Champions are listed, as well as the horses at the stud between 1953 and 1956 again with their competition acheivements.
 
Although undated, this booklet was published sometime in 1956/57 as the records run to 1956 and there is a colour photograph of Lady Wentworth in her later years.
 
Quite a rare piece of Crabbet history.
The book measures 10" x 7.25". There are some slight bumps on the edges as you might expect of a book this age. There is a mark on the front cover and a light stain on the top right of the back cover.
There are what appear to be  tape marks on the ffep and ibc.
Binding is tight and pages are all clean. There is an inscription on the on the Ifc.
Overall in this book is in very good condition.
