This is the 3rd edition, reprinted from the 2nd edition which was revised by Lady Wentworth. It was her 2nd reference work on the Arabian horse much of which was based on her mother, Lady Anne Blunts work from her 'Book of Fragments' which was never published in her lifetime.

For this third edition, purely factual information which had gone out of date has been most carefully revised to take account of modern developments, but without damaging in any way the uniquely idiosyncratic character of Lady Wentworth's original work.
This book is in excellent condition. The Dust Jacket has a small tear and is slighlty faded at the spine but otherwise very good. Includes hundreds of photographs and plates of Crabbet and other horses. An essential addition to any Arabian Library.
