UK Arabian Competitions

There are several different classes of competition for you to take part in with your Crabbet Arabian some of these are 'competitions within competitions' all you need to do is purchase a qualifying card at the beginning of the season!

Endurance GB organise rides around the country. You can go along on the shorter rides as an introduction to Endurance or just enjoy a pleasure ride in many beautiful locations.

A British Dressage for Arabians

This is a great opportunity for all you Crabbet dressage riders out there!!

British Dressage is proud to welcome the Arab Horse Dressage Championships onto its competition calendar. Riders lucky enough to ride one of these horses, whether pure-bred or part-bred, will now have the opportunity to qualify for a prestigious championship at a date and venue to be confirmed - more details to follow soon.

Ridden showing classes for Pure Bred Arabians

The 'Ridden Arabian Star Series' is an innovative  and complete showing series for Arab Horse enthusiasts with their purebred Arabian horses. 


Each part of series culminates in a Championship Class and Final which are held at the prestigious UK International Arabian Horse Show, the UK's only 'A' Arabian show, at Addington Manor Equestrian centre August bank holiday weekend each year. 

Encouraging the breeding of beautiful and versatile Arabian horses

The Arab Horse Society operates a Premium Performance Scheme in furtherance of one of its specific aims of breed improvement and to encourage the breeding of horses which are not only beautiful, but can also perform. 

Owners of Premium mares covered by an AHS Premium stallion receive free registration of foal the following year and a year’s Gold level AHS membership.

This exciting championship show is open to the Amateur/Home Produced people of the Arabian World

A show where the “amateurs” of the Arabian horse world – whether it be Pure, Anglo or Part Bred – can compete at a high standard, but on a more level playing field and not be up against the many professionals who now grace the showing rings.

High Points Competition

A points earning, year long competition for members who wish to show in non ECAHO classes to encourage them to undertake more shows with their registered horses. runs from 1 June to 31st May each year.
