The 2017 conference of the World Arabian Horse Organisation (WAHO) is being held in the Kingdom of Bahrain under the incredibly generous patronage of His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa. The delegates are all having a wonderful time and have been treated to visits of local historical sites, displays of champion Arabian horses and visits to the Royal studs.

 

The 3 day conference was proceeded by 2 days of tours, then we had a visit to the races followed by 2 days of Royal Stud visits and 2 days of Arabian Showing. We have been treated to shows of Arabian in hand champions plus local cultural events. We could never have imagined that we would be spoiled quite so much on a WAHO conference and would thoroughly recommend anyone interested in the Arabian Horse to visit the next conference to be held in Sydney in 2019!
